Call of Duty Black Ops II is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision.
It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 13, 2012. The game is the ninth installment in the Call of Duty series and a sequel to the 2010 game Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The game's campaign follows up the story of the previous game and is set in the late 1980s and early 1990s during the final years of the Cold War. The game's campaign mode features two interconnected storylines, with the first set from 1986 to 1989 during the final years of the First Cold War, and the other set in 2025 during a Second Cold War. The game also features various multiplayer modes and a zombie mode.

Campaign
The campaign of Call of Duty Black Ops II is set in 2025, 40 years after the events of the original Black Ops. You play as David Mason, the son of the original protagonist, Alex Mason.
You are sent on missions to infiltrate and destroy enemy forces in order to stop a global terrorist group known as Cordis Die.
Multiplayer
The multiplayer mode of Call of Duty Black Ops II offers a wide variety of game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination, Free-for-All, and Search and Destroy.
